As an aircraft owner and commercial, instrument-rated pilot, she practically embodies her passion for aviation and mobility. Leveraging her aircraft for regular commuting, Gloria serves as a living testament to the practical applications of emerging aviation technologies, such as Urban Air Mobility (UAM), and Regional Air Mobility applications.
Gloria's academic credentials underscore her commitment to excellence in aviation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management degree from Dowling College, School of Aviation, complemented by an Associates Degree in Aviation Science, Professional Pilot. Additionally, she has undergone extensive training in the Air Traffic Collegiate Training Program, further enriching her understanding of airspace management and airport operations. Her unwavering commitment to fostering dialogue, promoting sustainability, and addressing the needs of local communities exemplifies her role as a catalyst for positive change within the aviation industry to promote Advanced Air Mobility.
Visionary industrial & brand designer, Arthur Gilmore has always been on the cutting edge of human-centered thinking and design, with more than 40 years of experience managing design programs for leading brands around the world. Before starting Gilmore Group, Arthur held managerial and leadership positions with some of the leading human factors, industrial design and branding agencies such as Henry Dreyfuss, Teague, and Interbrand.
20 years ago, he founded Gilmore Group, synthesizing the key areas of human factors, design, and branding into one organization. A particular focus is human-centered experience design in the aerospace sector. The company developed into one of the most respected multidisciplinary, strategic design consultancies in the world, assisting with the launch of numerous aircraft and creating powerful branding to support the strategies of these global enterprises. Some of Gilmore’s aviation clients have included HondaJet, Gulfstream Aerospace, Textron Aviation, Sikorsky, Agusta, Bell, Embraer, Bombardier and Boeing. Airline clients have included, American Airlines, Swiss Air, Thai Airways, Lufthansa and British Airways.
Besides aviation and airlines, some of our clients have included BMW, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Walgreens. The company has gained recognition and won numerous awards for its architecture, motion & graphic design, industrial design and branding. Mr. Gilmore holds a degree in Industrial Design from Carnegie-Mellon and completed the Executive Business Management Programs led by Harvard Business School professors conducted under Omnicom University. In addition, Mr. Gilmore was the United States’ selected participant for Japan’s prestigious JETRO Program. Mr. Gilmore holds over two dozen patents and continues to create visionary, human-centered experiences and journeys for various clients around the world.
