With an eye toward the future, the Institute promotes systems resilience. We will rally decision makers to invest in youth STEM education and implement proactive cybersecurity measures well before the dawn of cryptographically-relevant quantum computers. AAM is designed to more quickly transport people and goods but a failure here will jeopardize reliability and eliminate time savings. In fact, we seek necessary amendments to the UN treaties on Aircraft Hijacking. Finally, we must ensure that the transition from licensed pilots to self-flying aircraft occurs only when AI can categorically reduce human error as proven through the Green AAM Pilot's Association (GrAAMPA).
At the AAM Institute, we're developing key relationships to spread the word and help Generation Z and Generation Jetson navigate from learning resources to employment opportunities.
A program of the AAM Institute designated to ensure that the transition from licensed pilots to self-flying aircraft only occurs when AI can categorically reduce human error as proven. It is critical that such a shift does not come about hastily in an effort to reduce labor costs by corporations. We want to stand up for UAS drone pilots and upcoming eVTOL aircraft pilots throughout all phases of transition: 1) crewed eVTOL, 2) remote UAS and remote, uncrewed eVTOL, and 3) autonomous operations with human oversight.

DownloadState Parties must commit to punish all forms of hijacking of advanced air mobility passenger-carrying aircraft, to include remote cyber-attack or physical coercion of the RPIC, especially considering the increasing frequency of remotely piloted flight operations as well as increasing levels of automation. Society needs to come together to thwart hacker terrorism.
Companies must take responsibility to pursue all reasonable means to protect the general public from cyber-attack during their services to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. We are leading an industry-wide goal of Quantum Resilience by 2028. To foster accountability, we are developing objective criteria to evaluate OEM security programs and policies through the AAM Institute Security Index (AISI).
